2011: Infallible no. 200

For this installation at Arnhem Mode Bienalle, Amie Dicke used spray-guns to automatically propel hundreds of litres of liquid foundation make-up on to a domestic scene she had assembled within the industrial environment of the former AkzoNobel factory.
The make-up slowly covered the original colours and patterns of the objects in the room until everything was concealed under a thick skin-coloured layer. Sponsored by L’Oréal.
